Sitting side by side on a seat of equality
Words all appear as boisterous poems
Cascading over lines and molding to a predestined form
Nothing accomplished or grand
Just a poetic emissary
Sent to Earth to weave fictitious lies
And shout magnificent tales
In the shadow of her college-bound gods
Who rest beside her on equality’s seats
Telling her that she can achieve her dreams
Not realizing that she only yearns
To be one of them
